The "Bruce" as the locals call it is located between Lake Huron on the west and Georgian Bay to the east. It is the best place to find northern boreal orchids, with 52 species blooming from late May to September. It is part of the Niagara Escarpment, which also forms Niagara Falls, hence lots of limestone which is perfect for bogs and fens. All in a 80km peninsula.
